Emma Eckrote

Emma Eckrote is a medical student at Indiana University School of Medicine and will be graduating with the Class of 2022. Before starting medical school, she attended Indiana State University as part of the Rural Health Program, completing a BS in Psychology and traveling throughout the US and Ecuador to volunteer in medical clinics. Hailing from a farm in Macy, Indiana, she currently participates in the Rural Medicine Education Program at IUSM and plans to return to a rural community to practice medicine and public service in her future.
