Steven Giang

Steven Giang is a third-year anesthesiology resident at The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine and a member of the inaugural class of its anesthesiology residency program. A first-generation physician from Dallas, Texas, he was drawn to medicine by a commitment to serving others, particularly patients and communities who face barriers to care. His experiences in anesthesiology have deepened his passion for compassionate, patient-centered care and helping patients feel safe during vulnerable moments. He plans to pursue further training in pain management after residency. Outside of medicine, he enjoys exploring new restaurants with his fiancée and spending time with his two nephews
