Julianna Edelman

Pre-Med

Julianna Edelman is a second-year student at the University of Virginia from Irvington, NY, studying Spanish on the premedical track. At UVA, she is involved in several healthcare- and service-focused organizations, serving as Program Director for the Madison House Emergency Department Lobby Liaisons, Professional Development Chair for the American Medical Student Association (AMSA), and Treasurer for Autism Allies.

Julianna is involved in research in the Department of Genome Services at the UVA School of Medicine, where she studies cardiovascular disease. She hopes to continue exploring the intersection of medicine, language, and service throughout her career through academic, clinical, and research experiences at UVA and back home in New York.

Outside of her academic and extracurricular commitments, Jules enjoys playing sports with friends, going for runs, and tasting coffee and matcha in new locations.
