Fernando Rivera

Med Student

Fernando Rivera is a third year medical student at San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Caguas, PR. Born and raised in Bayamón, PR, Fernando has a B.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Puerto Rico where he graduated with honors, and M.S. in Medical Sciences from Ponce Health Sciences University. At San Juan Bautista he is the president of the American Medical Association and the Emergency Medicine Interest Group. He is involved in the community and hopes to provide a better healthcare for our minorities and poor people. Fernando aspires to become an emergency physician and to be able to collaborate with missions like Heart to Heart International.
